V for Vendetta

So V for Vendetta was originally a comic, believe it or not, not very many people knew that. I didn't until just last year. But anyways, it was written by Alan Moore, in the mid 1980's or so, kind of displaying our future in 2020, where all the nuclear weapons have been destroyed, and the government has turned to being rather controlling. It also takes place in the United Kingdom, I personally want to say London, but I could be wrong.
The main characters in the book/movie are, V- a vigilante who terrorizes the government, trying to make a point across to the people. He is looked at as a hero.

Evey- the story is told from her perspective, but shes really just the one that gets stuck inbetween V and the Government. V teaches her his ways and his motives.

The rest are government official people and what not, a few side characters, but nobody too important.

Personally I liked the comic and the movie greatly. Speaking as someone with poor reading comprehension, I could concentrate on what I was reading, the only problem is the comic is super confusing. So be prepared to read it twice or even three times because you may not get it at first. To me that's one of the many things that I like about the series. I like that he does everything he does simply becasue of an idea "and behind this mask there is an idea Mr.Creedy...and ideas...are bulletproof!" That is an example (also my favorite line throughout the book and movie. But I strongly suggest the movie if anyone's interested in watching it, because it can bogle your mind and has pretty good fight scenes in it by the way. It's also got pretty good ratings on it, so I hope this helps.
