Alright so it has been a while since i've been on. Sorry for you all that are interested. But recent things have happened in the Harry Potter world in the last few weeks. First things first Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 1, came out on the 19th of November. Of course, i went and saw it opening night. Getting a ticket was definetly difficult, had someone who worked at the movie theatre to get me in... Anyways and the second thing that has happened lately was Emma Watson (Hermoine Granger), cut her hair off, it's as short as most mens out there. Now there is nothing wrong with that. I havent read anything on it, but so far what I think is that shes been cooped up making the Harry Potter movies for most of her life, and hasnt been able to do what she wants, for example cutting her hair short. So I could understand where she is coming from. But in all honesty she doesnt pull off the look, I hope she realizes that. But she can do whatever she wants so I guess it's whatever.
Back to the Deathly Hollows, it was a great movie in my opinion. Definetly better than any of the previous movies that have come out. I say this simply because it goes into the book in great detail. Which is awesome! The only beef i've got with the movie, is it leaves out some crucial points. For example, when Harry and the gang get back to the appartment in which Serius Black lived, Dumbledore forms from sand and asks them a question of some sort I don't quite remember. But in the movie, it was disappointing that Dumbledore formed and just rushed at them ghostily and bursts back into sand...thats it. They had more experiences with this weird subject. Thats just one example, nothing too big, but enough for me to notice a flaw.
But like I said, overall I liked the movie. You can't always expect everything from a movie, because they can't include everything. They have limited time and resources, and must do things the best that they can, sometimes leaving out some important details. But some do take it too far. For example, Dragonball Evolution. Now I'm not going to go into details, but that is one thing that I had to ask myself...Did they even watch one episode from the show?
