Harry Potter the devil?

Alright, so of course there are rumors that Harry Potter is the devil. In my opinion I don't understand how this could possibly be true. Considering that out of all 7 books, not one mentions the bible, or God for that matter. So how is it people always relate things to the devil?
It seems to me that churches tend to do that a lot. When they don't agree with something, it's the devil. How can they say that? Their not God, I can guarantee that God didn't tell them to say that...I don't know, Pokemon Cards were the devil. I mean who can honestly believe in that? Remember I'm not trying to attack any religions or anything, these are just things that I think.
Anyway this is related to a story that I put on my links, about the Pope's exorcist calling Harry Potter the devil. In my opinion, this is complete bull. "You can tell by their behavior and their actions, from the horrors they committed and the atrocities that were committed on their orders. That's why we need to defend society from demons." That was according to Reverend Amorth, he compares them to Stalin and Hitler, which if anybody doesn't know, were totalitarian leaders. So answer this, can you make a good, nonpointless arguement about what Harry Potter has anything to do with this? Because, I can't think of one. It just seems to me that people are trying to make him seem like the devil to persuade people that the idea is bad. It goes against a religion, simply because theres magic. You know there's people that thought just like that a long time ago. It's called the Salem Witch Trials. That's where townspeople were killing random men and women that were rumored to have supernatural powers, or be magical. Now witchcraft can be practiced but if you ever look at any reviews, no psychics have ever come forward to claim the several million dollars that are out there. My point. Psychics aren't real, therefore people shouldn't be freaking out about things being the devil, when he isn't real. They're saying psychics are'nt real which obviously is the devil. So therefore the devil is not real. Just a simple case of Classical Psychology.
